Non-bedridden patients
Patients who are fully able to wash themselves are free to choose how to do so. You may bring your own products and bath towels or use material from the hospital.
Bedridden patients
Bedridden patients who cannot care for themselves are washed with flannels soaked in a skin-friendly, lightly scented wash lotion. This is as hygienic as washing with soap and water and has some important advantages.
Skin care
Washing lotion cleanses, nourishes and supports the skin. Water and soap dry out the skin. It is therefore less protected against external influences.
Infection prevention and hygiene
We use a different flannel for each part of the body. This prevents the spread of germs from one part of the body to another. No spills occur and the flannels are thrown away after use.
Environmentally friendly
Washing with water and soap is harmful to the environment (water and soap consumption, rental linen, transport). The caring flannels are made of a wood fibre (tencel) and are produced environmentally friendly (Nordic Swan ecolabel).
No perfume
The wash lotion has no perfume and is suitable for all skin types. You can use your own deodorant and perfume: preferably on the clothes, not on the skin.
