Wireless internet terms of use

Conditions

• The device connected to the UZ Gent network must not be connected to the Internet via other connections (e.g. a modem).
• The IP address assigned by UZ Gent is only used for personal use.
• You do not carry out any illegal actions (e.g. downloading child pornography, hacking into secure company websites, damaging computer data).
• You do not send e-mails that disturb other users (spam) or violate their privacy (e.g. offensive language).
• You do not use the wireless internet for commercial purposes.

What to do in case of infringements?

• In case of violations of the terms and conditions, UZ Gent reserves the right to disconnect the connection.
• You can also be held liable for (proven) negligence. In some cases, this leads to the sanctions provided for by law.

Good to know

• As a user of the UZ Gent Wi-Fi, you agree that we register and save the addresses of consulted websites for monitoring purposes.
• UZ Gent is not responsible for damage to or theft of PCs, smartphones, tablets or peripherals.
