Charges unrelated to care
The 'Miscellaneous charges' (Diverse kosten) section of the hospital bill includes charges unrelated to medical care. For example:
- accommodation flat rate: Wi-Fi, telephony, TV, refrigerator, etc.
- accommodation costs if a partner or family member stays overnight in your room.
These costs are not reimbursed by health insurance. More information on prices can be found in the fee list or can be requested at the Admissions and registration desk.
Non-reimbursable services
For some medical services the health insurance does not reimburse anything, for example certain lab tests. These costs can also be charged under the heading 'Miscellaneous charges'.
