The Bistro cafeterias at UZ Gent offer a cup of coffee, breakfast pastries, bread and spreads. There are also cold dishes, salads and desserts. Prepared meals can be heated up. The cafeterias also offer magazines, greeting cards and chocolates. After 2.45 p.m. on weekdays, you get a 30% discount on meals with a short shelf life. Payment is by bank card.

There are two cafeterias at UZ Gent: at entrance 12 and entrance 50, each on the ground floor.
Opening hours
- Cafeteria entrance 12: every weekday from 7.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and in the weekend from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Outside these opening hours, a limited supply is available through vending machines. - Cafeteria entrance 50: every weekday from 7.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
