Don't forget your identity card
Be sure to bring your eID, kids ID or ISI+ card or electronic foreigner's card to the hospital. You must scan it before each consultation or admission at the registration kiosk. This way the reception and registration will run smoothly and you avoid having to pay a large part of the medical expenses yourself. The health insurance company then pays them directly.
A few things to keep in mind
- Arrive on time. Register with your eID half an hour before your appointment at a registration kiosk. That way you don't have to rush.
- Currently, code orange applies to respiratory infections:
- Wear a mouth mask in the waiting room and during the consultation, examination or treatment.
- Do you have a cold? Then also wear a mouth mask in all other areas of the hospital.
- Severe flu symptoms? Call the department where you have an appointment. A staff member will review with you whether the appointment should be postponed.
- One or more companions may accompany you, but please respect the peace and quiet of other patients.
- Disinfect your hands. Hand alcohol is available in the hospital.
