UZ Gent is located on the southern outskirts of the city. You can reach UZ Gent by car:
- from the center via the inner ring road and the traffic axes De Pintelaan and Zwijnaardsesteenweg
- via the R4, both from the east and the west
- via the E40 and E17 freeways. The E40 freeway (Ostend-Brussels) is connected to the E17 (Antwerp-Kortrijk) via the Zwijnaarde interchange. On the E17 take exit 9 'Universitair Ziekenhuis' or 'UZG'

Limited parking capacity
Parking capacity on the UZ campus is limited. Public transportation is a quick and comfortable alternative to reach the hospital.
Parking is only available in the central parking building, unless you have valid permission to park in spaces for persons with mobility impairments.
Kiss & ride
You can, however, drop off patients and visitors at the kiss-and-ride zones near the clinic buildings. You can see where they are located on the site plan. With the entrance ticket you received when you entered, you can leave the campus within 30 minutes free of charge.
