It’s time! You’re having contractions and are being brought to UZ Gent to give birth. Do not park in the regular parking building. Drive straight to the maternity complex.
Contact the maternity complex before you leave. This allows us to prepare your arrival and get the room ready.

Directions
Due to the works on campus, the route has changed. Don't worry, you will now get to the maternity complex even faster. Follow the red 'Verloscomplex' arrow.
- Enter the campus via the main entrance:
- C. Heymanslaan 10, 9000 Ghent
- GPS coordinates: 51° 1.536' / 3° 43.731'
- After the main entrance, turn right.
- Follow the detour around the chapel to entrance 50.
- Reserved parking spaces are available for the maternity complex.
Arriving at the maternity complex
- The maternity complex is accessible 24/7 via entrance 50. Wheelchairs are available.
- During the day: walk straight in. At night (10 pm-6 am): ring the bell at the sliding door. A midwife will open it remotely.
- Follow the red arrows 'Verloskwartier route 515' and take the lift to the second floor.
- Go to the reception desk. If no one is there, press the 'Hier aanmelden' button.
- A staff member will guide you to the delivery room.
