Non-UZ employees who frequently visit the campus - such as suppliers, contractors, or UGent employees - can obtain an access badge.
Procedure
- An employee of the department you work with requests the badge via the contractor portal.
- You will receive an email with a link. Fill in your personal details and agree to the hospital’s privacy and confidentiality rules.
- Pay online:
- 30 euro deposit (for temporary workers and students, or badges without parking)
- 37 euro per year (for suppliers and contractors, or badges with parking)
- Collect the badge at the department that requested it for you.
Exceptions
- Recognised (lying) patient transport has a separate procedure. Email your request to badgeshop@uzgent.be or call 09 332 94 09.
- Students are not entitled to free parking.
